LANE POSITION

To be Seen
Place yourself in a position where you can be seen by all others on the road way. (Make sure the coming left hand turners can see you) try to keep in the mirror of the drivers around you.

Place yourself away from the Hazard
Create space between you and on coming and solid objects that may effect your travel. Don't ride in blind spots!

Lane Position

Be as close as you can to your escape route
Know where you can escape to avoid being hit hard. Select the soft place to land.

Select traction for your tires
The road surfaces changes every inch. Having good traction is inportant in stoppping and turning. Keep a watch on where you plan to put your tires.

Control your lane
Other road users will pass you when it is not safe for you, place your bike in a place which prevents them form passing when they shouldn't.
