LEARNING ATTITUDE [Back to Motorcycle Riding Techniques] It can be difficult to find motivation to train for unlikely occurrences, but these rare occurrences are what turn into crashes unless you are prepared. Those who understand this reality are the ones who will survive the unexpected appearance of a left-hand turning car at an intersection or a sudden road hazard around a blind curve.
Do yourself and your love ones a favor and adopt a attitude to do all you can to be the best rider you can be. It's unfortunate that many riders let the time and effort it takes to practice stop them from improving their skills. Fortunately, it doesn't take a lot of effort to increase proficiency. You just need about a half hour every couple of weeks and a place that is conducive to achieving your goals. Where to practice? Parking Lots: Parking lot practice is the best way for both new and veteran riders to develop and refine skills. Not only are parking lots free from traffic and other roadway hazards, but also because parking lot speeds are relatively low, experimentation is less intimidating. |
